Welcome to Move and Groove Innovative Dance!

At Move & Groove Innovative Dance, we enable children in a learning center environment to experience dance in a safe, fun, and stimulating class. Our educated faculty members are professional dancers with extensive backgrounds in teaching your children dance. Each teacher takes pride in sharing their knowledge and love of dance in a nurturing manner. Our curriculum is taught through a foundation of basic dance technique, while promoting gross motor skills, rhythm, creativity, and flexibility.

Class Attire

  • Move and Groove Shirt - purchased at Dorothy's Dance Shop - (210) 545-4700
  • Black leggings/athletic pants
  • Ballet shoes - pink (Girl) and black (Boy)
  • Tap shoes - velcro or tie 


**St. Matthew's is an exception to class attire**

Tuition Breakdown

  • The registration fee is due at the time of registration.
  • Tuition will be charged to the method of payment on file the 1st of every month. If the payment is declined by your card carrier for any reason, a $25 return/late fee will be charged.
  • Tuition that has been deposited cannot be refunded.
  • If tuition is not received by the 10th of the month in which it is due, dancers will not be taken to class until tuition is paid in full.

Holiday Breaks and Closing

2025-2026

Please note: Move & Groove does NOT hold make up classes for Winter Break, Spring Break, Summer Break, Thanksgiving Break, Labor Day or Memorial Day.


  • Labor Day 2025 - September 1st
  • Thanksgiving Break 2025 -  November 26th - 30th
  • Winter Break 2025: December 22nd - January 4th 2026
  • Spring Break 2026: March 8th - 15th
  • Memorial Day 2026 - May 25th


If we are not able to hold a scheduled class due to our teacher responsibility, we will schedule a makeup class in the same month the class was missed
